About Stellar Asset Management
Stellar Asset Management is the third-party asset management arm of the Stellar Family of Companies, which has been working in multifamily real estate since 1989. 35 years, four states, 27 markets, and more than 11,000 units owned and represented. Lease-ups, refinances, dispositions, and a few down cycles that taught us more than the good years did.
That history is most of why we're useful to anybody. We've watched what a property does when a business plan holds, and what it does when one comes apart, and we've been close enough to both to know the difference usually isn't luck.
Who We Answer To
We work for ownership. Not for the property manager, not for the broker, not for whoever's easiest to keep happy. When a review turns up something that isn't working, that's what goes in the report, even when it's uncomfortable and even when the relationship would be smoother if we softened it.
That independence is most of what you're paying for. An owner usually has no shortage of people with a reason to say things are fine.
Why We Do It
Stellar is a faith based company. Our purpose is written down and it hasn't changed in 35 years: to be about our Father's business.
For us that has less to do with what we say and more to do with how we handle what we've been trusted with. Somebody else's capital. Somebody else's asset. And somewhere at the end of it, somebody's home.
We don't expect that to be why anyone hires us. But it is why we work the way we do, and it's the reason an honest report will always matter more to us than a comfortable one.
